Bali, 19 May 2024 – In order to make the 10th World Water Forum a success which will be held on 18-25 May 2024 in Bali Indonesia, Asech Indonesia is supporting Jimbaran Hub and RajaLARI by holding a 5K Sunset Trail Run.
The 5K Sunset Trail Run will take place on Sunday, May 19 2024, with the theme “Combining Sports with Enjoying the Sunset in the Best Area of Jimbaran, Bali.” This event is also an opportunity for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), especially Balinese culinary practitioners, to participate and introduce regional specialties to participants and visitors. The presence of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H. Sandiaga Uno, BBA, MBA, added to the excitement of this event.
The main objective of the 5K Sunset Trail Run is to support the development of Sport Tourism in the Jimbaran area and introduce Bali’s sports tourism potential to the international world. Apart from that, this event also aims to increase awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and healthy lifestyles. Through this activity, it is hoped that a community will be created that cares about the surrounding environment and adopts a sustainable lifestyle.
Active participation from various local communities and government, including the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, shows strong support for the development of sports tourism and environmental awareness in Bali. This event is not only a sporting event, but also a platform for the promotion of local culture and culinary delights, as well as efforts to preserve the environment. It is hoped that the 5K Sunset Trail Run can be an inspiration for people to care more about the environment and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
